Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

The Griffiths Group Limited is looking for a weighbridge operator to join our busy office team in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, have great customer service skills and a positive attitude.

This job role includes :

Weighing vehicles containing scrap metal in and out of site.
Producing weighbridge tickets and issuing these to customers and suppliers.
Completing transfer notes and other documents for material leaving site.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with other members of staff in the office and on site, receiving information about material quality, deductions etc.
Ensuring personnel visiting site/weighing in are acting safely.
Being able to keep track of numerous vehicles on site at one time.

No previous experience in the scrap metal industry or as a weighbridge operator required. Training available in house.

Must have good English, Maths and basic computer skills.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm

Saturday - OPTIONAL

Hourly rate, £10.50 per hour
