Salary: £37,500 - £55,800 (including overtime), negotiable based on experience and qualifications

Professional Engineering Services Ltd is looking for a highly competent individual to join our team. As an Approved Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in hazardous environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct inspections, testing, and certification of electrical equipment and systems.
Assess risks and implement necessary safety measures to ensure a secure work environment.
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality electrical services.
Maintain accurate records of work activities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Stay updated with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

CompEx certification preferred but not essential.
Proven experience as an Approved Electrician, preferably in hazardous environments.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., IEC, ATEX, BS 7671).
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
