I am looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to work in my Jessica Anderton Designs shop, which is located on 160 South Street, St Andrews.

Brand Background; Jessica Anderton Designs is a homeware & lifestyle brand, with an eclectic mix of products inspired by Jessica’s original artwork. Each item in her collection has been carefully hand-crafted in the United Kingdom, uniquely designed and made to last for years to come.

Job details & requirements;

Part-time position with very flexible hours throughout the week to accommodate all schedules. Availability at weekends is essential and potential bank holidays. Working hours approximately between 11am-4pm.
£10 per hour - paid by BACS every 2 weeks.
A passion for interior design and unique, luxury homewares.
Retail experience is preferred, however this is not a requirement.
Starting from mid June.
Proficient in English with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, polite and helpful personality.
Dependable, punctual, flexible.
Training will be given.
National Insurance number required.

What would the role involve?

To independently manage the store during opening hours, including regular weekend work. Good time management and self-motivated as you would be working in the shop on your own.
Greeting customers in a friendly and confident manner.
Proactively offering assistance and product recommendations to customers.
Upholding presentation standards for the store.
Maintaining a tidy and organised stock room.
Knowledge on the brand and product lines.
Operate financial transactions with the use of an iZettle card machine (very simple to understand!)
Gift wrap customer purchases.
Helping out with jobs in the shop, such as tagging products, writing short blog posts for the website etc.
