We are a world leading manufacturer of Guitar speakers In the heart of Suffolk looking to employ an experienced Production Manager/Planner to join our established team. Someone who will take ownership and pride in producing our highly regarded products. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced and exciting environment. The working hours are 41.5 hours per week, Mondays - Thursdays, 0630 - 1600, and Fridays 0630 - 1200.

The Role:

An experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage the production team and schedule all production activities using MRP system and all other resources available.

The Person:

Excellent communicator both verbal and written
All round team player
Computer literate
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Diligent and analytical
Good eye for detail
Ability to motivate and enthusiastic

Duties to include:

Planning and directing workloads of Production operatives
Support and be directly responsible for Supervisors and their teams of operatives
Work within H&S standards to ensure a clean safe working environment is maintained along with safe working practices
Review MPS and create a workable monthly production schedule in support of sales
Check availability of materials using all available aids
Implement company procedure and policy
Communicating and escalating problems or obstacles
Assessing resource requirements
Negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Oversee the production process
