Position Overview & Specifications

Undertakes feasibility study to design software solutions
Writes and codes individual programs according to specifications
Providing development support of jump simulation environment including development of new exchange specific algorithms and general infrastructure support
Meeting with clients to determine requirements
Develops user interfaces
Tests and corrects software programs
Implements and evaluates the software
Learning end to end, all aspects of the existing proprietary jump's trading platform and related technology
Plan and maintenance database structures
Writes operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for the user
Working with clients to define the scope of a project
Planning timescales and the resources needed
Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business using CRM systems
Travelling to customer sites
Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organization
Defining software, hardware and network requirements
Analyzing IT requirements within company and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT
Actively participate in the troubleshooting of production environment issues
Defining and developing tools to enhance jump simulation platform
Actively monitoring performance of the system
In-depth experience of working on multi-threaded applications
Excellent knowledge of networks and operating systems
Exposure to exchange protocols is a plus
Meeting with clients to determine requirements
Working with clients to define the scope of a project
