Position Overview & Specifications

The Sir Thomas Hotel in the heart of Liverpool City Centre are recruiting for a friendly experienced Breakfast Waiter to join our team, working between 7.00 am and 11.00 am five days out of seven Monday to Sunday inclusive.

Job Role:

Provide a high standard of service both in terms of welcome and waiter service.
Provide a positive and friendly customer experience by interacting with patrons.
Serve customers - prepare the breakfast dining areas, provide waiter service, and clear away.
Perform the tasks of order taking and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
Take orders and deliver promptly to the kitchen area.
Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy.
Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
Collecting payments for drinks served and providing change as needed.
Any other reasonable request as required by your Supervisor or Hotel Management.

Work Experience

Experience of food and beverage service would be advantageous
