Centre VR, Europe's largest virtual reality venue, we offer the latest, best, and widest virtual reality experiences for fun, parties, team building, business and educational training, and real-world escape rooms. We are currently seeking enthusiastic team members to provide exceptional guest experiences.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a professional kitchen, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have culinary industry experience, a passion for food preparation, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Have knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Create menus that meet customer needs and preferences.
- Prepare meals and side dishes according to customers' needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools.
- Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.
- Ensure that all food is cooked properly and served in a timely manner.
Our Requirements
- Ideally one year of previous related experience
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 Certified
- Eager to learn new skills and support the broader team
- Legal right to work in the UK
- At least 18 years old.
